The Equipment to Enhance Training for Health Professions Training Programs (EETHP) is a funding opportunity under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Recovery Act or ARRA) that provides Federal funding for the purchase of health professions training equipment.

Program Goals

• Increase the number of highly skilled health workforce professionals in the United States or its territories through the availability and use of training equipment.
• Strengthen the National capacity for health professions education through the purchase of health professions training equipment.
• Invest in the educational and/or service infrastructure, through the purchase of equipment, to enhance the quality of health professions education.

Awards will be made through 21 health professions training Programss authorized under Titles III, VII and VIII of the Public Health Service Act.  Eligibility, priorities and preferences within the individual Programss differ, pursuant to the PHS Act.  Because of these differences we have developed multiple funding opportunities.
