Funds state professional licensing boards to work with licensing boards in other states to develop and implement policies that reduce barriers to telemedicine and other practices that are limited by requirements that physicians be licensed in each state where he or she may provide telemedicine services on a regular basis. This is particularly a problem for physicians who are providing highly specialized services around the country for rare conditions (e.g., genetic counseling).
