The purpose of the Predoctoral Training in Primary Care program is to support projects that plan, develop, and operate an accredited professional training program for medical students in the fields of family medicine, general internal medicine, and general pediatrics, or combinations of these disciplines.
Eligible entities include accredited public and nonprofit private hospitals, schools of allopathic or osteopathic medicine and public or private nonprofit entities that the Secretary has determine capable of carrying out such grant.
