The purpose of the Expansion of Physician Assistant (EPAT) Program is to increase student enrollment in primary care Physician Assistant programs and graduates planning to practice primary care specialties by supporting students in physician assistant training programs.
Eligible entities include public or private nonprofit accredited physician assistant training programs that teach physician assistant students to provide primary care medical services under the supervision of a physician.
