Note: This program will have active grants through 2015, but currently has no more competitive cycles planned.
The purpose of the Primary Care Residency Expansion (PCRE) Program is to increase the number of residents trained in general pediatrics, general internal medicine and family medicine by supporting new expanded resident positions in three-year primary care residency programs.
Eligible entities are accredited physician residency programs in family medicine, general internal medicine, or general pediatrics.
