Features – External Users (Project Directors / Grantee Users)
BHPr is pleased
to announce the release of the improved Bureau of Health Professions
(BHPr) web-based Comprehensive Performance Management System and
Uniform Progress Report (CPMS/UPR) system. This release is specifically
addressing New Features and Enhancements related to
the CPMS/UPR system.
New Features!!

Eight
new Core Performance Measures have been added to the existing
five measures in an effort to collect more comprehensive performance
data. The new measures address:
- Promoting
careers in primary care
- Improving
the distribution of the health workforce
- Strengthening
public health and health care infrastructure
- Improving
the quality of care through training

| Grantees
will be able to set their own goals for the outcome measures.
These goals will be set annually by each grantee and will
enable the grantee to measure program success over the duration
of the grant. |
| There
will be the opportunity for grantees to report students of
more than one race. The multi-race categories are those identified
by the Office of Management & Budget. |
Enhancements!!

Additional
data validation rules have been implemented to better assist
the grantees to submit quality data |
| New
“Look and Feel” to improve the user’s experience. Descriptive
icons have been added to help users locate the most common
system features. |
| Online
help and video training has been revised to reflect the new
features and enhancements. |
