Task Force, Commission or Panel

  • In 2002, the Tennessee Hospital Association received a grant to establish a Center for Health Workforce Planning to assess the state's health care workforce shortages and develop recruitment and retention strategies to address them.

Scholarships, Loan Repayment

  • The Health Access Incentive Program offers grants to physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurse midwives in return for 3 years of service in an underserved area. Loan repayment is also available in return for service in qualifying areas.
