West Virginia Oral Health Task Force was established in 1999 to improve access
to dental care.

Loan Repayment - The
West Virginia Division of Recruitment offers a variety of financial incentives
funded by the State and communities that can be used for medical education loan
repayment, residency stipends, sign-on bonuses, or other incentives to attract
or retain a primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants,
and/or certified nurse midwifes in underserved communities.

Higher Education Policy Commission offers $20,000 scholarships to medical students

Ladder Development - The
West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources is developing the Medical
Field Training Opportunities program, which will create a career ladder in nursing
