The Health Workforce Research Center program supports high quality, impartial, policy-relevant research on the health workforce to assist decision-makers at the Federal, State and local levels to better understand health workforce needs.
The four funded centers collect, analyze and report health workforce data that answer the question: What health care workforce is adequate to ensure access to high quality, efficient health care for the U.S. population?
The technical assistance-focused center supports States, local/regional entities and others in the collection, analysis and reporting of health workforce data.
